Before we left Canada we were able to meet up with Forrest Stevens. We asked him about how he got into creating videos and what his upcoming #vanlife film is all about.

This is our journey in our Dodge Ram #Shmoovan to Mexico for the winter. We’ll be spending time in the South Western US, again, as well. We plan on chasing the sun and great mountain bike trails.
We hope you come along for the ride! And, we’d love it if you subscribed to our YouTube channel “Adventure Dorks” and share our videos on social media!

Where We Stayed

After our trip #Back2Van, we flew to Newfoundland for a few months and then back to BC to prepare #shmoovan for the road. In this video, we were on Vancouver Island headed to Port Angeles, Washington.
For details from the entire route and to get GPS coordinates, check out our map below.

#flightofthesnowbirds – The Map From Canada to Mexico

The plan: leave Canada and head south for the winter.

Here’s our Google map that we’ve been working on. If you’ve been following our journeys you’ll see a difference in this map – we’re differentiating map markers using coloured icons. You’ll see bike markers for mountain biking trail heads; picnic table icons for places we might overnight that are public spaces such as picnic areas or beaches; parking icons for stop overs such as Walmarts and casinos; and other icons such as libraries or wifi spots where we can work. We’ll probably add water and sani-stations as we find them.
